The Movement for Governability and Democracy - Creating Reality

The movement is concerned with maintaining the balance between the various components of democracy in the State of Israel: deciding the majority, individual rights, governing fairness and transparency. The institution monitors, investigates, publishes, promotes legislation and reforms at the interface between the elected authority, which expresses the majority's decision and Israel is a Jewish state and the judiciary charged with individual winnings, corruption prevention and rule of law.

In recent years, the boundaries between the legal system on its various branches and the authority of elected officials have been blurred. The legal system began to make value, moral and political decisions every day. The power of office bearers in the judiciary sometimes exceeds the power of the government and the Knesset and elected officials find themselves barred from promoting and implementing the policies for which they were elected. Excessive concentration of power and authority in the legal system violates the principle of separation of powers and may jeopardize the purity of standards and the proper administration of state systems.

התנועה הינה עמותה רשומה העוסקת בשמירת האיזונים בין מרכיבי הדמוקרטיה השונים במדינת ישראל: הכרעת הרוב, זכויות הפרט, הגינות שלטונית ושקיפות. התנועה עוקבת, חוקרת, מפרסמת ומקדמת חקיקה ורפורמות בממשק שבין הרשות הנבחרת, המבטאת את הכרעות הרוב ואת היותה של ישראל מדינה יהודית לבין הרשות השופטת המופקדת על זכיות הפרט, מניעת שחיתות ושלטון החוק ושמה לה למטרה לקדם מגמות אלה בקרב הציבור בישראל.
